The annual meeting of the Shalimar Association is Wednesday, November 13, 2024 at the Church of the Epiphany, 2222 S. Price Road, Tempe, AZ 85282
New board members will be elected during the business meeting from 5pm-6pm.
At the public meeting from 6pm-7pm, the board president will provide a full campaign update with time to answer your questions.
All members in good standing are invited to attend in the business meeting. Only members who meet the criteria in the bylaws are eligible to vote. Members must be in attendance to vote. No electronic vote will be accepted. There is no proxy voting.
A Nominating Committee has been appointed by the President prior to the annual meeting consisting of the President, Secretary, and two current board members. The Nominating Committee will review all nominations, evaluate candidates, and make recommendations for 15 board positions to be voted on during the November meeting. Board composition considerations include a range of skill sets, diversity of experience and perspective, and an ability to drive creative problem solving. Following the election of board members, the 2025 BOD will vote on officers at the next scheduled BOD meeting.
